Bring Learning to Life

The impact of the arts on students is long-lasting and comprehensive. Through Omaha Performing Arts' education and community involvement programs, we make sure critical thinking, innovation, and hands-on education take center stage. We give students inspiring firsthand encounters with artists and present important lessons from the curriculum in a fresh, dazzling, and immediate way.

Did you know?

  • The arts enhance the process of learning - nourishing such systems as integrated sensory, attentional, cognitive, emotional, and motor capacities.
  • Arts-involved students outscore their non-arts-involved peers by up to 30 points on the Verbal Mean and Math Mean portions of the SATs.
  • More than 65 distinct relationships between the arts and academic/social outcomes have been documented, including such associations as dramatic enactment and conflict resolution skills, and traditional dance and non-verbal reasoning.

Boost your students' cognitive skills and let them see history, science, physical education, engineering, literature, and more in action - right here in your community!
