Student Matinee Performance Registration Form

Select a performance and determine the number of student and adult tickets you will need.

Student tickets: It is better to overestimate the number of tickets you will need as it is easier to cancel tickets than to add tickets to your order. Slight adjustments to final attendance numbers will be allowed no later than 10 days prior to the performance date and is are subject to availability. Tickets are $4 per student. Sales tax will be assessed if applicable.

Adult tickets: Student groups will receive one complimentary adult ticket for every 15 student tickets. All adults who attend the performance must have a ticket, including teachers, chaperones, and bus drivers. Adult tickets may be purchased for $10. Please be sure to include all chaperones in your total chaperone count, even those with complimentary tickets. Omaha Performing Arts reserves the right to limit chaperone tickets permitted by group.

Apply for financial assistance (optional). Financial assistance is available to school groups demonstrating financial need through our Subsidy Program, which is described in the second section of the form. Subsidies are available for assistance with tickets, transportation or both. If you'd like to be considered for the Subsidy Program, please provide the requested information.

Return the Participant Agreement with payment. Once you are registered for the Student Matinee Performance, you will receive a Participant Agreement via email two to four weeks after registering. The Participant Agreement must be signed and returned accompanied by full payment to Omaha Performing Arts no later than 10 days prior to the performance date. Those groups attending the event supported through the subsidy program must complete a Participant Agreement even if no payment is required.

Are you interested in applying for a subsidy?:

Thanks to the generosity of The John K. and Lynne D. Boyer Family Foundation, Kathryn Weil Simon, the Nebraska Arts Council, and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Omaha Performing Arts is pleased to offer bus and ticket subsidies. Please note: subsidies are reserved for schools demonstrating significant financial need. Bus and ticket subsidy funds are limited, and all subsidy requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Subsidies are offered to defray the costs of student tickets and bus transportation. They are distributed based on need and availability.

Both subsidies (Ticket Subsidy and Bus Reimbursement Subsidy) will be awarded on a percentage of total cost (25%-100%). Ticket subsidies will be administered in the form of reduced or waived ticket prices. Bus subsidies will be administered in the form of a reimbursement check AFTER the event. Each school is responsible for arranging their own transportation AND for full payment to the bus service provider. To receive the bus subsidy reimbursement, you must provide a copy of the bus/transportation invoice. Estimates are not sufficient. All invoices and paperwork must be received no later than 30 days following the performance to receive reimbursement. Bus subsidies can only be made payable to schools, PTA’s or PTO’s.

In order to consider your subsidy request, we request answers to the following questions:
1. For which performance(s) are you requesting subsidy?
(This one completed survey is valid for any/all performance(s) for which you have registered.)

NOTE: All performances are approximately 60 minutes in duration unless otherwise noted.
