Yamato Drummers of Japan's performance is infused with the idea that the drumbeat, like the heartbeat, is the very pulse of life. Omaha Performing Arts had an incredible evening on Friday, August 26, 2011, celebrating the first five years since the opening of the Holland Performing Arts Center and the beginnings of Omaha Performing Arts. A private dinner was held in the Scott Recital Hall for the more than 250 people who helped make the Holland Center and Omaha Performing Arts possible.

Omaha area. Our most recent Young Artists' Night, Broadway Songbook with Dave Barrus, was held in January. A group of talented high school and college students from the Omaha area had the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a Broadway star... from a Broadway star!
