Welcome to our new site!
March 17 10:56 AM
Testing... testing... is this thing on? We're so glad you're here
on our completely redesigned site! We have a bunch of new
features (like easy-to-use forms for contacting our staff, photo
galleries, and, of course, this blog) that we're proud to share
with you.
Right now, this site is in Beta mode. You're our guinea pigs! Please, explore, have fun, and drop us a comment (or four) about what you like about the new OmahaPerformingArts.org or what you'd like to see in the future. We'll be continually updating the site over the next few months, so keep checking back.
Something we're really excited about is this very blog. It's a first for us, and we'd like to do it right. We hope this blog will become a place for people who love the arts to share thoughts and ideas with other like-minded folks (and maybe those who aren't so like-minded). If you know about an amazing event here in Omaha, something incredible going on in the development of the city, or anything else, please leave a comment below!
And look for updates right here on this blog - we hope that very soon, this space will be hoppin' with frequent updates about the goings on of Omaha Performing Arts behind the scenes. Keep an eye out for posts from visiting artists, lots of Omaha Performing Arts staff members, and more.

This was a labor of love by lots of great people at Omaha Performing Arts and Waitt Interactive. It's so good to see it LIVE!

I would like to log onto your site and see a calendar of events, click on the event of choice and purhase a ticket. I find the new site is focused on many good aspects but they are not practical and why most people go to your site. Right now I find navigation very frustrating and am discourged about using your site. There are also many links for Omaha performing arts that go no where when using google.

Karen,
Thanks for your feedback! For now, our ticketing site, TicketOmaha.com, is our primary ticket purchasing site. You can go there buy tickets. Or click "Buy Tickets" or any darkened square on the calendar on the homepage to buy tickets!
We will take your feedback into consideration - we appreciate your time!

It would be really helpful to have an easy to find, and detailed seating chart for Holland and the Orpheum. It is pretty frustrating to have to kind of guess where your seats are located :) Actually, I'm still looking through the site in hopes one exists. It did when I bought the tickets. Thx.

I concur with Karen, where is your catalog for the full season? I am trying to plan a show around kids activities, work, etc and you only have shows through September. I was able to print out the entire season for the Lied Center. Please add the season catalog to your site.

Hi, sq and Lauri! Again, please visit TicketOmaha.com for detailed seating charts and seat views and to purchase tickets.
As far as our season catalog goes, if you visit our "Subscribe" page, you can preview the entire 2010-2011 season! Click Season at a Glance or Preview to see it all.
Thank you for your feedback!
Hey, awesome! Thanks for commenting! Please: keep it clean, keep it fun. No inappropriate comments will be posted live. But have at it, friends - this is your place to discuss!
