October 21-22 and 29-30, 2011 • 6:00 to 9:00 PM
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo®

Omaha Performing Arts will be hosting a treat station at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo® nighttime trick-or-treating event, Spooktacular! Bring your little ghouls and goblins and stop by our station for some Bakers Candies’ World-Renowned Chocolate Meltaways or a photo opportunity. Be sure to bring your camera to capture your lil’ bandits in a Halloween photo with our ol’ time “jail” standee.

There are loads of activities and lots to see during the event. Visit the Lied Jungle® to see the free flying bats or stop by Kingdoms of the Night to see the nocturnal animals during their daylight cycle. Get up close and personal with different Animal Ambassadors, special animals used for educating visitors. Try fun activities like Boo Bowling, Musical Pumpkins or Penguin-Pickin-Apples.

Purchase tickets for $10.00 per person in advance. The evening includes admission to Omaha’s Zoo afterhours and a hot dog dinner. Children 2 and under are free. Omaha's Zoo admission gates and exhibit buildings will close early on October 21, 22, 29 and 30. Admission gates will close at 4 p.m. and exhibit buildings will close at 5 p.m. Zoo grounds will be cleared at 5 p.m. with re-admittance beginning at 6 p.m. for the event with a pre-purchased ticket.
