Forrest Gump Friday, July 19

Forrest Gump (PG-13) and An Evening: A Tribute to John Denver
Release date: 1994
Run time: 142 minutes

Academy Award winner for Best Picture and Best Actor Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump, is the unlikely story of a slow-witted but good-hearted man somehow at the center of the pivotal events of the 20th century — in each case, far exceeding what anyone imagined he could do. Yet, despite all the things he has attained, his one true love eludes him. Follow Forrest (Tom Hanks) as he rises above his challenges and proves that determination, courage and love are more important than ability.

Before you witness Forrest’s heart-warming tale, enjoy music from An Evening: A Tribute to John Denver. Playing all the hits of John Denver, An Evening will have you singing along and tapping your toes.

Finding Nemo Friday, July 26
Finding Nemo (PG) and Omaha Girls Rock
Release date: 2003
Run time: 100 minutes

Finding Nemo is a comedic and eventful tale of two clownfish. Marlin is a widower who only has his son Nemo left of his family after a predator attack. Years later, on Nemo's first day of school, he's captured by a scuba diver and taken to live in a dentist office's fish tank. Marlin and his new absent-minded friend Dory set off across the ocean to find Nemo, while Nemo and his tank mates scheme on how to get out of the tank before he becomes the dentist's niece's new pet.

Before you watch Nemo find his way home, hear alumni, camp counselors and campers from Omaha Girls Rock find their groove. There will also be a free, interactive instrument music lab for families to enjoy pre-show.
